Les Sybelles is France's fourth largest ski area. Yet one of the least discovered. Les Sybelles is part of the Savoie region of France, home to Meribel, Courchevel, Val d'Isere, Sainte Foy and many more of the popular ski brands. But outside of France, little has been made of this giant newly created ski area. The new ski links have created 310km of high altitude pistes, perfect for beginners, intermediates and a paradise for off-piste skiers. It's just a matter of time before Les Sybelles attracts the prominence of its fashionable neighbours.
The other important link into Les Sybelles is the new motorway which connects Geneva, Chambery and Albertville to the Maurienne. This has dramatically reduced the transfer times to this region. Now Chambery, Grenoble, Lyon, Geneva & Turin airports are all within 1 – 2 hours quick, traffic-free drive. In addition the TGV also has opened here with Paris (and Eurostar ski trains) now just 4 hours transfer.
These factors alone - poor access and the un-linked ski area - have previously prevented international property investment. But this has all changed in the past year. We are witnessing the beginning of a massive change in investment patterns away from the Tarentaise, Portes de Soleil and the established resorts in the Three Valleys into the Maurienne Valley. In particular, our recent projects at nearby Valfrejus and Orelle were instant sell-out’s.
The investment property market is almost totally untouched by British buyers. Naturally, this means property prices are still very low in comparison with the other parts of the French Alps.
La Toussuire 1800 is the highest altitude resort in Les Sybelles, offering dramatic 360 panoramas from a large sunny plateau. When purchasing an apartment at les Balcons des Aiguilles you are the freehold owner from Day One. To receive the 19.6% price discount – you sign an 11 year leaseback agreement with Lagrange Prestige to rent and manage the apartment for you.
You will receive the following financial benefits:
